EXTREME UNITED

Hello everyone… Nuno here.
We have just wrapped up our Europe-UK tour.
Although I really feel the need to reach out to all that came out to the shows to rock with us… I am at a loss for words to let you know how we, Extreme feel about it all. Which is a miracle in itself considering that I usually have the BIG mouth in the band. But, let me try.

This tour was one of the most amazing and memorable experiences of my life!
Truly…. show after show, you beautifully shocked us with your passion. It took every manly-macho fiber that I could dig up.. to not shed tears in front of what I know now to be OUR fans. Yes! Extreme fans! Man…. the emotions that you guys and gals put the band through were just simply overwhelming. From the second those house lights went down to the very last moment of bowing and waving goodbye to you all. We truly did not want to leave you… If it weren’t for venue curfews… we would have played for 3 hours instead of 2.
I also have never smiled so much on stage either… I have new wrinkles in those spots to prove it.
I don’t know…. we might have been too young or just immature to realize it way back when… but there is nothing more powerful than the electricity that went on between the band and you…. our fans. We tried to connect eyes with everyone… but we know that’s impossible… knowing that wasn’t enough we wanted to jump in and hug as many of you as possible… For those of you we couldn’t lock eyes with or hug and kiss, we felt you and heard you. And how cool was it to look out and see a whole new slew of young Extreme Fans…. exciting!
And the cool thing was that every country and city showed their own way of expressing themselves.
Those smaller towns they told us not to play cause it wasn’t necessary? Bullshit! You proved them wrong…. Worth every mile we drove to get there.

When I tried to explain the feelings and appreciation during “Am I Ever Gonna Change”… I still felt there were no words to describe how important you are to us… You are our missing link. Without your voices… Without your love… we are just another band…. reuniting…. existing.
You, on the other hand, made us feel like we arrived home. Not only did you offer us a bed, but you through in fresh sheets, a comfy pillow and some milk and cookies… And we thank you. Please leave the light on…. as we WILL be back soon for another sleepover. And we cannot wait. Sorry we took so damn long.

Nuno

PS. All our Asian, South American and USA fans and the European countries we missed this time around….
we’re coming .

Yeeeessss ! We are waiting you in Switzerland !
Kisses to all of you.

For my part (and I’m sure most will agree), the feelings were mutual. We are already missing you guys! Let’s just say that the next time you come over for a sleepover, we’ll have milk&cookies and warm slippers waiting. :)

Be safe in your travels and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Hell yea! That tour was the best!! Please don’t forget us in Montreal Canada!!

Wow Nuno, you hit the nail on the head there - matching my overwhelming memory of your show. Never have I seen the members of a band smile so much on stage. You all looked like you were doing it for the sheer joy of being up there. Just wanted you to know that it felt like every member of the crowd was loving it just as much as you were.

I came away with sore cheeks from smiling so much, slight deafness and almost no voice left from singing my heart out - amazing.

You guys gave all of us who were able to make it to a show an experience that we will never forget - and we thank you for it.

We’ll keep the pillows fluffy ready for your return to the UK and thank you for rembering that Birmingham is best pronounced without the ‘h’.

I’ll be waiting for you guys in Brazil!!!
Big hug and kisses

You deserve it!!! The greatest band in the world.
So how about you arrive to Israel too…
Waiting for you…

I spent the night of my 40th birthday watching you guys totally rock Newport, Wales to the core. Thank you so much for the passion, the energy, the wonderful music (old & new !) and the lurrrvvve, baby…!!!

Wonderful concert to the Elysée Montmartre. Just can’t wait for another gig in France !

I’ll be waiting for you in Argentina!!!

Hey, that’s my line “keep on rockin’!”. That’s basically all I could say to them when I met them here in Cincinnati. Star, Comfortably Dumb, and Ghost are my top 3 favorites on Saudades. Hey Nuno, Gary, Pat, and Kevin, let’s party some more.

Saw the show in Southampton and thanks for putting on such a great and enjoyable show. A lot of bands think the UK ends at London, so it’s appreciated you made the effort and played Southampton, just don’t leave it so long next time.

I really hope Nuno,Gary and the guys are reading all our messages! I saw you on mon 24th at London Astoria, ur last gig, And I’m still buzzing from your energy. You were absolutely electrifying!I really had an amazing time. I nearly broke my neck getting to the front to touch Gary’s hand for like a second. But it was worth it! Please come back soon. P.S. Nuno, next time just come into the crowd n hug us. xx

You made so many people like me so happy - like you transported us back to our youthes, only it’s better this time around cos we don’t have so many pimples and we’ve all grown up a bit! Honestly reading the posts on your facebook and myspace fan pages, we the fans are united with the same senitment- echoed again and again. You have re-awoken something in us that we had forgotten about…. it’s Extreme Passion and we love you for it!
Oh - and glad to hear you guys enjoyed it too :P

All the best for the rest of the tour and the lucky fans yet to see you guys in action!

xxxx

Canada!
Nuno, don’t forget Canada!

clare

SAW YOU IN SOUTHAMPTON
OH WHAT A FANTASTIC GIG.
ME & THE MISSUS HAVE MISSED YOU
KEEP IT ROCKIN & COME BACK SOON

Nuno, it was a great night. I was at the last UK gig in London. It brought back all those old rock chick feelings and loads of great memories. I’d forgotten how beautiful your songs were, and just how good you are live. Nuno you seemed to enjoy it so much…..bouncing round the stage like I used to years ago!! A wonderful night. xxx

Thats really nice of you Nuno, completely summed it up for us too.
As a young fan (I was the kid with the 80’s hair metal hair at Birmingham who you gave your beer and pick! - thank you for that!) it was truly one of the best nights of my life. I had put it as a given that I’d never see you guys live, but then hearing the news that you reunited put me on a high. Seeing you together however, blew it away completely, and I’d like to thank you guys.
Make sure you play the same venues again next year - and give me a backstage pass!

Good luck with the rest of the world,
Lew

Nuno, and the rest of the guys
I went to both the Manchester and Birmingham shows, and met you afterwards both times.
I thought that both gigs were the best I have ever been to and cannot wait to see you guys again in the future. You certainly know how to put on a show. Great band , great music and really nice people to meet. Don’t leave it so long next time for your next UK tour.

Hey Guys
Sounds like a huge tour. Remember us down here in Australia and think about a double with Baby Animals as a Xmas present, whilst you visit the in-laws. The connection is there and you WILL be close in South East Asia!!

You freaking Rock guys. Saw you at Manachester and my home town BIRMINGHAM. 2 very very special nights. A whole lotta loving, energy and emotion. I LOVE YOU GARY, you are the best performer this year and forevermore by far. Come back soon!!

And Australia!!

Heart-felt appreciate such as that is always welcome. It takes two to tango, as they say, and having been at the front in the Southampton gig, I can say that the feeling was indeed mutual. I’ve waited years to see you guys and it was the most exciting and fun gig I’ve been to in years and years. Next time, I am determined to catch a pick! so close, so close.. :)

Thank you so much for a magical evening! You rock! (I have never *really* needed to shout that before, but I did rather a lot that night (paid for it later!).

Keep on trucking..

Hey guys, one of the best nights of my life (at Norwich & only a mile from my house - woo hoo!!)besides the shows back in the day.Fantastic how great you guys are looking & sounding.Saudades rocks!!Your best album yet, although ‘the Truth’ is still unsurpassed!!Can’t wait to see you again soon..love ya.

THANK YOU GUYS!!!
we came in London from Italy on purpose and we are all happy and satisfied, we were waiting for you from so damm long time… but whatever, now you’re back and we are glad!
it was a really amazing concert!!!

Nuno, it was a dream watching you and the band play. I waited 15 years to see you live in London, as all I had in that time were my sisters vinyls which I played to death! I started playing the guitar the year you supported Aerosmith at Donnington-’94 and still have the footage on tape. Watching you with my sis at Astoria was a truly special moment. A triumphant return and I can’t wait for your next visit. All the best mate.

Amazing message Nuno. Literally took the words right out of my mouth. I know we all felt the same way about the UK shows. Without any doubt the greatest rock and roll band I have ever, and will ever see in my life. I would crawl a thousand miles on hands and knees to see Extreme again!

you guys ROCKED!!!!! i saw you in Norwich uk, you put on the bestshw ive EVER seen(even better than foo fighters)
PLEAAAAAASE COME BACK X

Ditto on Canada Nuno and Co. Remember the Toronto gigs????!!!!! Keep this awesome tour going, and get SDR in iTunes the world over so that the new disease can be spread further!

Nuno,

So happy to hear you guys felt our love, and always remember, it is here to stay. You guys are the epitome of artists, you care deeply about your music, and the gratitude which you show your fans, brings tears to MY eyes. I saw you at the New York State Fair, and turned two new fans onto you, my hubby and my 21 year old daughter. Her mind was totally blown..( btw she looks like a female Nuno actually..:) Please come back to the NorthEast in 2009, we did indeed miss you, love the addition of Kevin, and you guys have never looked or sounded better, like fine wine, you have improved with age, though you were always in a league of your own. Your music has given me great joy and awesome rocking times over the years…as well as touched my heart with it’s many soulful aspects. Thank you Nuno for taking time during this holiday and family season, to express what we as fans mean to you, such love and true appreciation will only make our bonds grow stronger. May the band have much success, health, and happiness, may the wind always be at your backs, and the sun on your faces, Thank you Nuno, Gary, Pat and Kevin, for kick ass real rock and roll as well as songs to tug at every heartstring. You guys are tight, amazing, and our heroes, The musical playground was too dark without you, thank you for turning the light back on.

And Remember that You Have To PLAY IN THE USA NORTHEAST IN 2009!!!!

always in luv,

Michele.

Saw you and DramaGods in Singapore when you guys were here (the only time i believe). Was one of the greatest moments in my life to hear you play live. Hope to see you again back in Singapore somehow.. Can’t make it to Indonesia for your gig, but it’ll be awesome i’m sure.

I don’t even know how to express how extremely jealous I am at this moment to read this comment from Nuno and to know I was not a part of that amazing group of people who were lucky enough to see Extreme live but to also get the recognition you have received. All I can say for those of you that got to see them is that ” I wish I was you” and I thank you for telling me your experiences and sharing your pictures. But my heart aches for the opportunity and my gut turns reading what you have seen and seeing in your pictures what I have not. To Extreme you have many fans you have reached with your talent, and musicianship to say the least and that is why we are fans and I understand that physically we cannot all be reached but personally we all obviously have been, that is why we Love Extreme and for that ” I thank you”. I still await my time!!!!!! One day it will come. Love and Cheers to all, Michelle in Canada

We are anxiously awaiting you to come and play in Missouri! It has been WAY TOO long!

So welcome home guys! The light is always on in our hearts no matter what happens. It is amazing to be like one amazing organism with you Nuno, Gary, Pat, Kevin and all the people at the show… like we were breathing, laughing, crying, screaming in the same rythm… that’s worth more than the whole money of the word. I will reach you wherever you go with the lighter in my hand not to let you loss you way to us again!
I do not dream about you coming to Poland… but I can follow you everywhere :P

Loving you unconditionally
Ewa

I missed the Cologne show but this message gave me rock solid goose bumps. ;-)

As I’m talking, please don’t prepare to split up again. If you’re burned or something take a break.

WOOOOW….I waiting for so long guys…Welcome To Jakarta on Dec,15…You are the best

Hey - why delete my comment???

Ok - you didn’t - Sawwy….

Glad you guys enjoyed it every bit as much as we did. You guys were that awesome I booked to see another show as soon as I got home from the first.

Can’t wait to see you again.

Love Claire xx

hi nuno , great shows, leeds and manchester, i feel ive waited all my life to meet you and you didnt let me down, glad you enjoyed it as much as we did, o sorry about my dick head brother after the show…..take care andy x

I saw you guys in Dublin and Belfast, and went to both Meet & Greets - you kinda overwhelmed me at the time, so I couldn’t really say what I wanted to say, but if you read these comments, here it is: I started listening to Extreme when I was 9, when Porno came out. It was some of the first real music I’d heard. When my friends were into silly pop, I was realizing what it was like to be moved by music, to feel a connection to something bigger than myself - and it shaped the way I looked at music from then on. I never got to see you guys back then, and in the meantime, my life got way off track. It’s hard to get through every day, but your music always puts a smile on my face. Nuno, same with the Schizo album, Mourning Widows, Population 1, Dramagods - all absolutely incredible. I go to alot of concerts, but you guys are hands down the best live act I have ever seen - your passion, your energy, your immense sound: you gave me the two best nights of my life. You were even better than I’d ever hoped you would be, and thank you for your warmth and hugs and kisses after the shows. Nuno, I will never, as long as I live, forget when you kissed my hand from the stage at the end of the Belfast show. The best things in life, I believe, are acts of random kindness and senseless beauty, and I will always cherish your gesture to me. I have your MW symbol tattooed on me as a reminder that some good things never come to an end, and that I was always right about you guys, even when I was never right about anything else. Thank you, thank you, thank you, and may God bless you all and your families and keep you safe and well.

Lads, you’re simply the finest.

Caught you at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert and in Sheffield in ‘92 but Leeds in 2008 was simply incredible. What’s more, this time my 12 year old son could experience the magic that is Extreme - and he’s hooked!
Nuno, Gary, Pat and Kevin, we share the passion, come back very soon, Adam

Hey guys, I saw you in Birmingham.
You still rule !
It was one of the best gigs i’ve been to in a long time.
Your old classics got everyone going and your new material is amazing.

It’s been 17 years which is just too long (and the last time I saw you was in exactly the same place- Newport Centre, first ever gig too). Fantastic show last Thursday… but come to Cardiff next time !

I will not forget Glasgow. Best two hours of my entire life.

You guys are the business. The real deal.

PLEASE COME BACK SOON.

I felt the same as you, Nuno and I guess the entire audience did while your Cologne-gig. One of the best concerts I saw and not comparable to your 1995 gig in Düsseldorf.
Take care and hope to see you soon.
Günter

WE ARE WAITING FOR THE PUNCHLINE.

AND YES, I CAN STILL FEEL THAT “AM I EVER GONA CHANGE” MOMENT.
THNKS NUNO!!!!

Hi Nuno (and Gary, Pat and Kevin too, of course!)

Glad you enjoyed the tour as much as we did! I have to admit I nearly cried during “Am I Ever Gonna Change”, so I’m glad you kept your tears in or you would have started me off! (they would’ve been tears of joy, by the way). Shaking hands with you all when you got down off the stage was a privilege, so thank you all. Next time, I’ll kiss your hand to repay you for mine! The lights will always be on for you guys, and I’m sure the next sleepover will be just as amazing. You will never be “just another band”!

Counting down the days until you come back….

Love always
Liz xxx

Hi,i seen you at glasgow(front row woohoo) and for the first time ever i went home speechless, you guys are amazing.Nobody can match that quality i witnessed that night!wow!

don’t forget the philippines in your future itinerary!

your fans here await you!

I saw you guys on Monday (24th Nov) at the Astoria. Just wanted to post something to say how much me and my friends loved it. It really was an amazing gig, thrilling from start to finish, one of the best I’ve ever been to. We’ve been fans of you for about 15+ years and I think we were taken back to our younger days - it seemed the same happened to you guys on stage too. Just wanted to say thanks so much, and we hope you’re back soon, we’ll be waiting!

Would love it if you did a few more shows back in Boston!!! The show in the summer rocked!

Can’t wait for the show in Jakarta on Dec 15, 2008!

ROCK ON!!

You are my favorite band. Please try to make it to Calgary, Alberta, Canada. You played here along time ago and it was the best concert ever (Big Sky outdoor concert). Peace.

Was lucky enough to be at the the Glasgow show and still can’t get over it. I feel like I witnessed rock history in the making. Looking forward to the return.

Ever since I was a little girl head banging in my bedroom with my brother back in the 80’s Ive been waiting for that moment to rock with you, and on Monday, I cried I was so happy. Being so close to the front and shaking your hand Nuno was a dream come true for the both of us. My brother is an excellent guitarist, all down to you (and a few others)!

I have tried to email you guys before, and if theres anyway, I can arrange for a signed photo of Nuno for him, I would be forever in debt to you.

Thank you for all your hard work and effort in making a fantastic tour.

Best Wishes,

Robyn

As a long time fan I’m thrilled you guys had such a great time on your European leg and got the love and respect I always thought you deserved. I’m just happy you no how important you guys are to us FANS!I wish you guys Happy Holidays & safe Travels on the rest of the tour!

Saw you guys at Southampton, England. Absolutely amazing show. You guys haven’t lost it. I hung around after the show and was lucky enough to meet all the band and get photos. Nuno, you are the reason i play guitar and to see you on stage again after a 13 year wait was great. Thank you. Bring on the next album and tour, I’ll be there at the front again!!

I Waited 13 years for Extreme to return to the UK (last gig was WFTP tour) and it was so worth the wait! Saw you in Southampton and Birmingham and Y’all quite simply surpassed expectations time and time again, song after song! Amazing gigs. Like everyone else is saying don’t leave it too long before you return to the UK again. We’ll be waiting…

I went to the Birmingham show (I was the one with the custom Extreme t-shirt :P). I want to thankyou so much for an amazing show… I loved every bit of it. I had wanted to see you play for a long time and I finally got the chance. Seeing you play live I thought was enough but then I got to meet you too. All of you are such kind and friendly guys. I just kinda wished I wasn’t so nervous :). This was the greatest experience and now me and my cousin have autographs and pictures, but best of all, memories that we can share, that will last us a lifetime.

Thankyou so much and I hope to come and see you again very soon. Good luck with everything.

You guys were great as always, in Glasgow…please come back but next time, please, please play the Barrowlands as the Carling Academy sound sucks.

Thanks Nuno! I always love reading the band’s thoughts and feelings. I am glad you were so happy with the way the tour turned out. It was great to see all of you smiling so much. I am really looking forward to your return to the USA. The 3 shows I saw were all phenomenal! You guys really are the best!

See ya soon!

You guys HAVE to play Canada. I’ve been dying to see you guys live for many many years and it would be a really big dissapointment if you don’t come to canada. specifically Edmonton Alberta ;)

Hope to rock out with when you come to north America.

I saw you guys at London Astoria with my brother. We have been fans for over 15 years. It truly was the best gig I have ever been to. I waited so long for that moment. It was just awesome. Please don’t stay way for long as i cant wait to relive it all over again. You really are great musicians and are as hot as ever! xx

MERCI.
From the man with the flag and the bottle of wine in far Paris city.
Sorry, but at this time, I’m a little bit drunk (sincerely!) and I’ll have one more drink at your health and belong…. yeah!
Pat, Kevin, Nuno, Gary: MERCI.

The Three Drummers:

1992 I saw Extreme at Wembley Arena

1995 I saw Extreme at Hammersmith Apollo

2008 I saw Extreme at the Astoria - smallest venue and the guys had 13 extra years under their belts, but easily the best show of the three.

My wife, who I met in 2002 also saw Extreme in the early 90s and the idea that we would get another chance to see them together would have never occurred to us. And the Queen finale with Justin Hawkins and The Duvals was particularly appreciated.

Now I need to find somewhere online to buy the T-shirts that I didn’t have the cash for on the night.

Hi Gary, Pat, Kevin
and Nuno
thanks so much for this message!

I saw you in Cologne and it was great great great great great!!!
the best concert I ever was… I´m very looking forward to see you guys live next time and i can´t wait for it :-)
THANK YOU so much for your music and for that great concert.

Astoria…unbelieveable!

Next time you’re in London, drop me a note and I’ll put the kettle on!

Peace friends.

Hi Guys,
The Tlburg ,Holland show was absolutely stunning. It was so cool to see you guys back after more then 14 years of absence in our country! I was the guy in the audience that told you (Nuno) that we’re NOT that polite in the Netherlands! Keep on rockin’ and catch you on the next one..

I had the pleasure of seeing you guys in Birmingham, UK and enjoyed every second. I too had been waiting for years and it was a dream realised. Nuno…your live guitar playing was faultless and awesome to see. Thankyou all

I was at the Orlando concert and was in a state of shock when you all came on stage! It was surreal..I felt like I was in a dream…and I didn’t want it to end. When Gary started talking to the audience and was saying that it has been a long time since Extreme has toured and how he wanted to thank all the fans…I literally teared up! I grew up listening to Extreme and feel so connected to them through their music and lyrics.
Gary, Nuno, Patrick and KFigg..you all are loved..more than you will ever know…

Amazing!

come to NEW ZEALAND!! or at least pick me up from here so i can watch you somewhere else, common! i’ll be waiting by the phone lol

By the way, it sucks that because Im young and with all the crap music out there today that it took me until last year to know who Extreme was hahaha. You guys are awesome and I made sure my sis got your guys music dvds for my birthday last week :) Unfortunately I couldnt experience a live show like all the other lucky pricks out there who ever went to see you guys so I had to spy on youtube, but I’m telling you if I was even at the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert I wouldve fought it out to get to the front row even if I was only 3 years old at the time………….
P.S. New Zealand is great *hint hint* Gary is aging like a fine wine and I like it

Guys I was at the Dublin Gig…. got passes for me and the woman off Robby, was great to meet you all, photos etc.. and then for the support act and nuno to end up in a local bar drinkin :) truly awesome…. see ya on the flipside and be safe travelling :)

God bless you guys for reuniting!!! I cannot tell you how many nights I felt asleep listening to you. Nuno you changed my life (you too Gary)! I’ll be waiting for you down in Puerto Rico.

Hey guys, Happy Holidays to all ! I missed the first Boston show back in July. Since I live in your hometown,I know you will be back again, I will NOT miss it.Hey Gary, maybe I’ll see ya in Starbucks again (Xmas Eve 07′) Take care guys !
Ken

You guys have influenced me musically since I was a kid. And for over a decade I never stopped playing those albums! It was my dream to hear more, because back then you created some of the most incredible music i’ve ever heard! I missed your US tour this time, but hope to see you in the future.

Only one date in France !
Please think about South of France. We’re waiting from you (i’ve just (re) listening “Three sides…”. Always incredible feelings

The Astoria is a great venue; when Extreme played there it went from great to perfect. Unbelievable show, great balance of old and new tracks and clearly an audience that loves the band so much. This time around, I can see Extreme getting bigger and bigger. But I hope not…I want to see you in the Astoria again, not some vibeless enormo-dome.

Welcome back and see you next year!

Me and my 14 year old daughter saw you at Southampton. She has been subjected to, and submitted to Rock since the womb! We made it to the front near Nuno, and as we both play guitar, it was a magical evening. Thank You for coming back, we really do appreciate it.

From Madrid THANK YOU¡¡¡¡¡¡

Best album , best concert , best group ……..

Bea

That message almost made me cry just like I almost cried when I saw you in Southampton - I felt a bit ashamed but it sheer and utter happiness: Extreme’s back!! I saw the ‘eye locking’ and did lock eyes with all of you (Pat- thanks sooo much for your smile at me, for me Extreme was always mostly about you!) It was all so amazing, one week on it is still the only thing I can talk about. Thank you again for coming back, I have missed you and can’t wait to see you again!

In November 2008, two of my teenager dreams come true : Guns n’Roses come back with a new album, and… I experience a Extreme Show !!! For the first time in my life !!!
And it was simply great, men, really !!!
Metallica new album is the best in twenty years and AC/DC isn’t dead yet…
Back in 1992 or what ?!?
Please come back in Paris as soon as you can.
Take care,
Patrick, Melun (FRANCE)

Nuno,
Your message really touched me. I’m so happy that you are able to see how much your music means to your fans. There is nothing more powerful than music to reach out and connect people together. As musicians I know you’ve got to realize that you are our Zepplin, our Queen, our Beatles. Your music inspires me and gets me through good times and bad. I can never thank you enough. What an amazing gift on Thanksgiving day, to know that you guys will be back and we’ll get to see more Extreme!! Looking forward to the next show, the next CD, the next project, whatever it may be.

This was great. Please come to Ontario, Canada soon!

Nuno, dude, you are the best rock guitarist ever, IMO.

I still can’t play any of your solos!

Come to Bristol UK next time!

Amen to that!!

Southampton show was awesome.

Love Saudades de Rock, so good to have you guys back.

Come back soon

I saw you in Cologne - Germany. Waiting 13 years for “the best band in the world” and your new POWERFUL album. I was overwhelmed and can’t wait for your return to Cologne, you will? I hope…

Singapore is waiting for you guys with open arms!

Nuno, thank you for that wonderful message. I am so glad that you guys enjoyed the tour as much as the fans did.

The reuniting of Extreme was great news to me and when I heard about the show in Tilburg (Netherlands) I made sure I purchased tickets right away. I have been to a few Extreme shows in the 90’s but I somehow forgot (?) how happy your music & shows used to make me. It all came back to me on november 3rd. As much as I loved the big arena shows way back when, the club show in Tilburg was even more enjoyable and I can’t even describe how much I was blown away (and still am) by the energy you guys put into your performances. It was totally AMAZING, a trip down memory lane and into the here & now! It’s great to have you back! Also, congratulations on ‘Sausages’ De Rock (great album!) and please do come back, we have missed you for too long indeed. THANK YOU!

Happy Holidays to you all,
ANDREA

Nuno,

How sweet! I think we all feel the same way. I felt like I was 16 again watching your show in Charlotte! It was the best, and a night I will never forget. I can’t wait for the next tour. And of course we will have cookies and milk ready for you all.
Much love, health and happiness in the New Year.
Alisa

Wow !!! i was at the Astoria gig and it’s been a long time since i’ve seen you guys .. but the magic is still there !! I really felt the emotion from the band and the crowd a very special night!! I cant wait to see you again the new stuff is fantastic !!! We all still love you !!!

OH! I always wait you back in Italy! (near Udine please!!!)
I saw (on youtube) your show with justin hawkins at astoria! fantastic! could you add your performance on your site?!?

Will you guys ever come to Bangalore, India? Ever?

Thank you for coming back to Newport south Wales, you were so amazing that night the best, the girlfrend and I have been BIG fans of yours for years, Also a big thank you to Kevin who I meet that afternoon for not only did he sign my sadades de rock cd, But also took the time to go and get Pat, Gary, Nuno`s for me to. Thank you Kevin for your time and the chat see you next time guys KEEP ON ROCKIN………………

I am the father of one of the kids you invited up on stage at the Glasgow gig.

I’ve seen 100s of band in my lifetime but the performance/show you guys put on was nothing short of amazing.

You are one of the tightest sounding acts I’ve heard and the four of you looked like you were really enjoying yourself (certainly not going through the motions).

I want to thank you again for not only inviting my son, Liam, up on stage and later backstage but also for taking a considerable amount of time asking him questions and encouraging him to stick in with the guitar.

This would leave a lasting impression on any 12 year old!

It truly has inspired him.

Wishing the four of you the success you truly deserve - I am still in awe of how effortless you make playing the guitar look.

Really hope to see you back in Scotland again.

All the best

Hi guys . . . thanks so much for the terrific CD and tour. You do have a many fans out here who will support whatever projects you choose to pursue. Know that if you want to hit the road in the future, we’ll all be there for you. Its been a long time since you played lunch gigs at the Channel in Beantown, but you guys still rock like it was only yesterday!

Cheers!
Charles

An amazing experience. I’ve been a fan for 20 years, but seeing you live this year in Michigan was inspiring. The new material and Dramagods music is the best. Please keep at it. (Love to see you do a G3 tour between projects)

hi guys i saw you in Glasgow and what can i say i,ve been the biggest fan since 1990 and no matter how many times i see you, you just blow me away and this time it was the best show ever am so pleased that you all got back together and i thank you from yhe bottom of my heart. Please don’t be long with the next album and tour because once again i will be right at the front when i come to see you. Take care all of you Phil

The light’s always been on, Nuno. Somehow we knew Extreme would come back. And you did it in the best way. Thanks.

Hi, Nuno!
It was really a pity I’ve missed another “Song for Love” you have recently completed. Do hope the next “Midnight Express” might be D-touring, say bypassing Russia.

Greetings from the South Urals with “More
Than Words”.
Sergey.

nuno and the guys ,myself and claire saw you in southampton .we are so happy to see you back ,ghost should be in the singles chart :we all hope, please comeback to the uk soon .Nuno;uk loves you guys .god bless .have a rockin xmas & happy new year 2009

“When I tried to explain the feelings and appreciation during “Am I Ever Gonna Change”… I still felt there were no words to describe how important you are to us… You are our missing link.”

What can we as the fans say to that? Yes, the band’s changed. Yes the fans have changed. We’re all that little bit older (if not wiser! haha) but, whether it’s down to as you said Nuno, being too young or immature the 1st time round, doesn’t matter now. I’d say we all were immature, (hell i still am & i’m 30 next year!), but that’s just my opinion. What matters now is that Extreme are back, & back with a vengence!! The album & tour means so much to the “Extreme Fanatics” (if you’re gonna borrow, borrow from the best right? :)) & each & every one of us who had the pleasure of the bands company for this tour, and i’m sure this feeling is mutual from the band yourselves, couldn’t have asked for yous to give us any more than you’s did @ each gig.
I was at the Glasgow gig, & i could feel the energy from the band & the crowd, & both were feeding off each other. It was just something i’ve never experienced at ANY gig that i’ve been to before. Anyway, i’m not gonna clog up anymore space on this page,(i think i do enough of that in the forums, ask Barbi! lol) or blow too much smoke up your butts lol, but check out some of the forum comments & you’ll see how much yourself, Gary, Pat & K-Figg mean to YOUR fans.

Brian. :)

(Ps. I meant what i said in the forums about signing my jacket & the beer i owe you’s as thanks…although you’ll have to read the right link to know what i’m talking about! hehe

Pps. I meant Bambi, not Barbi…she’s gonna kick my ass for that isn’t she… :( haha ;)

Caught you at the Astoria, London. Virtuoso performances all round and a damned good show. Nuno, is there nothing you can’t do with a guitar?

Yes, what Kiddy Go says is so true!!! I saw you in cologne - and it was so amazing!!! Hopefully you`ll come back to germany very soon!!!

I was in Madrid and London! And in Barcelona 2 years ago with Nuno!
This band is amazing, now i realize that this band i going to be with me all my life!

Great hearing from you Nuno! This was my 3rd Extreme show in the band’s many years and you guys still rock it out. Thanks for yet another amazing show. Will see you on the next one - count on it.

Amazing Show In Newport I Just Wish I Took More Pics And Videos!

Miss You Guys Already!
Need To Meet You Guys When You Come Back A Handshake Wasnt Enough! =(

Try And Throw In 2 Welsh Shows Next Year Guys Or More If Possible! =D

Cant Wait For The Video To Ghost Either XD

Thanks! thanks for your music, and especially thanks for coming back… Please come back to Spain!! We’ll be waiting for you here :)

I was at your Southampton gig on the 21st of November, best gig I’ve ever been to! Front row as well so I got to shake Nuno and Pats hands after, really cool that you jumped down afterwards to do that and thanks so much for making that one of my best nights ever!! Please come to Southampton again real soon!!!!

The new CD has become one of my favorite releases of the year. You guys haven’t missed a beat. In fact it appears you have “grown” over time and sound fresh and renewed. For some bands a “reunion” is about renewing thier bank accounts! It’s obvious you all have come together and revived the chemistry and actual joy of making magic together once again. We the fans are the lucky ones for we are experiencing real musicians doing what they love. I hope you guys are thinking about hitting Omaha Nebraska. We have great venues to play like The Holland Performing Arts Center! Thanks again for bringing back the magic!!
Brad Salt

Yeah guys you were great, thanks so much for coming to Glasgow in Scotland, god knows there are so many American bands that fail to visit Scotland - Alba Gu Brath !

Grande Nuno and guys,

Same was felt here, i wasnt sure if i was going to watch one more depressing reuniting band or one of the fucking best rock bands ever. Now, i have no doubt, it is a privilege to be able to see u live for the first time, as im one of the new fans. Was kinda hard to fit that into my schedule but i managed to catch u in a sunday in Birmingham, lots of travel, killing time in coffee shops, wondering around, etc… All worthed, man. I’m a foreigner in the uk, and living here for a year and so have brought me a shitload of different and interesting experiences and opportunities, and for sure I consider seeing Extreme live as one of them. Thanks for coming, thanks for bringing such great drummer with you too.

Fellas - really struggling to sum up the London Astoria gig in words. A smile, a sigh and a disbelieving shake of the head will have to do. Been a huge fan ever since my friend showed me the Medley from the Freddie Tribute and was simply amazed to hear a large part of it - for that I thank you! My friend and I were desperate to see if you are actually human Nuno, but you didn’t miss a note all night - there really is no hope for us mere guitar mortals!

Thanks guys for a great night - see you back in the UK soon…

Astoria - Great to be funked up once again. Agree with comments about the Extreme re-awakening. I’m now 35, in an office job and have become a cynical f**k. I left the Astoria feeling like I did 15 years ago and re-awakened of a few dreams of my own that I thought were lost. That, my good Extreme, is worth far more than the price of a ticket. Muito Obrigado. Saudades de Extreme? - you are back, and not lost to us.

I missed the show in Lisbon. Sadly. 14 years of silence, come on… I was devastated back then. I was number one fan. You can’t just fade away. You don’t do that. When I heard about the reunion I thought, oh just another revivalism reunion in order to make some bucks. Truth is I wish I had been there with you. I wish I had a little more faith… Still miss you. Continuo com saudades vossas.

Totally honest comment. I never knew you guys had reformed and were touring again. I got a last minute call a couple of days before the Monday night gig at the Astoria in London.

Was my first time for 13 years myself since following you guys religiously as a teenager. What a comeback! Really re-ignited my passion for your unique funky rock sound and great ballads. Felt like a home-coming to me.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for a rocking evening. New album on the Christmas list! ;o)

P.S. Goona hunt for the plectrum I got from Nuno backstage at Donnington years back when you guys were performing, with amongst others Aerosmith!

Peace and love guys!

Hi Nuno, and shure all the other guy´s rocking europe!

Was so great to see you back on stage and feel the rocking power!

hope to see you next summer again in europe maybe on some big festivals in austria like, http://www.novarock.at or http://www.frequency.at.

But on the mean time it would be cool to get you and your hot music in the charts.
So please let us know wich one would be the first single out of saudades de rock!
so we can vote for this song on the radio and tv stations and bring some great music to all this stations!

so come on guy´s! join the forum and let´s swap all the links and adresse from station all over the world to get them back!

peter

Please come back to Australia and also talk Suze into having Baby Animals support you. Now THAT would ROCK!!

You guys came to Winnipeg, Canada in 1992 (Of course I was there) and I hope if you guys make it through Canada sometime, you’ll stop in again.

Nuno,

I was at Extreme’s London gig and I could tell it was special for everyone there, including you guys! I saw you during the “3 sides” tour 15 years ago and after such a long hiatus I never thought I’d get another chance. I wasn’t able to buy tickets for your show as I was due to be on-call for work. When it turned out that I had the night off, I went to the Astoria thinking I’d buy a ticket from a tout but they were asking £80, which out of principle I wasn’t willing to pay. So I left, got something to eat, came back half an hour before your set (initially I thought I’d just go straight home) and after standing my ground got the ticket at face value… and thus began the most memorable gig I’ve ever been to!

Gary’s an amazing vocalist and perfomer, Pat and Kevin kept a solid rythm with some mean grooves and your guitar playing… I can’t even put it into words.

Bands whose members can actually play their instruments and aren’t after instant “American Idol” type success are rare these days. Please keep Extreme going for years to come, you’ve got a solid fan base (not just guitar geeks like me, some cute young rock chicks too ;-) ). Thanks for posting Nuno, ate mais.

Seb

I went to your gig at C.C. Lemon Hall in Shibuya! Thank you, thank you so much for great music. I was almost in tears when you guys showed up on the stage and heard the first sound!!! Nuno, you’re my great music hero!!!!

Just wanted to say I was at the Glasgow show with my brother and mates, and can say that it was, simply put, one of the best shows I’ve ever seen in my life. We’ve all been fans since for what must be rapidly approaching 20 years (I’m 27 to put that into perspective) and you blew us away. Thanks for coming back chaps. Keep it up.

When you come back don’t forget to come back to Holland! but come to Amsterdam next time, the Paradiso would suite you well!!

Nuno, your brazilian fans are waiting for you here!!! Cheers!

“Nuno, seus fas brazileiros esperam por voce!”

On my birthday in 1996 I heard the news: Extreme are no longer together! I had been a fan for just a few years, had all the albums, meditated on the lyrics and banged my head to the music. I was a fan - a fan that was never going to see you guys perform, except in my dreams.

In August I read the unthinkable news: Extreme is on tour. I checked my calender, and found that the Astoria show was the only one possible for me to get to, but even then it would require a lot of travel. On november 22nd i drove down from Dakar in Senegal to the Gambia, flew to Barcelona the next day, spent a few hours before getting an early flight to London monday morning, had a few hours of sleep, waited in the cold before entering the Astoria on november 24th at 7pm after 60 hours of travelling, 4 countries and thousands of miles.

A few hours later Extreme was no longer just something that offered me musical inspiration through the loudspeakers of my living room. Extreme were right there in front of me. I closed my eyes, I was at peace.

Thank you Gary, Nuno, Pat and Kevin. See you next time you’re “close” to Denmark!

hey guys have to say it was a dream come true to finally see you guys live in glasgow the show was incredible with so much energy.Garys voice was as powerful as ever and nuno it was truly awesome to hear your guitar playing live, as a fellow guitarist i dont know how you do it man i was gobsmacked. The way that you guys interacted with the fans and the way that you seemed genuinely grateful and surprised by the reaction of the crowd was really special. The new album sounds great and i hope extreme gets the attention it deserves.PS DONT TAKE SO LONG TO COME BACK NEXT TIME YOUR THE BEST LIVE BAND IVE SEEN

YOU GUYS NEED TO ROCK IN THE PHILIPPINES!!!!!!!!

Nuno, when will you come to Ukraine???

You´re finally back, what took you so long? “Take us alive Tour” - fine. Now take me alive again and come to SWEDEN!!! We really, really need you here.

Nuno,

It was fantastic to see you guys in Southampton. I’m only sorry I missed the meet and greet. My pregnant wife started feeling ill towards the end. However, junior will have heard it all!!! I must say however, that I was deeply impressed with the musical and artistic integrity that you all demonstrated, as was the clear love of what you do. The main reason Fans love your music is because you clearly love making it, which shows in every note you play. I am still buzzing 2 weeks after the Southampton Show. I can’t wait until you come back!

Oh, by the way, please don’t wait another 14 years! It’s WAAAAAYYY too long!!

hi ya nuno, come back to Argentina and let us show you WHAT a fan is.
thank you all guys for being extreme again. luv ya.

AGUANTE EXTREME!!!! NOS VEMOS EN BUENOS AIRES!!!! (PARA CUANDO LAS FECHAS DE LA GIRA SUDAMERICANA????

WE WAIT YOU IN ROME!!! You can’t imagine how much we miss you!!!
God Bless you guys!
Love
Mony

so, here it goes, the point of view of the organic farmer:
last october there was a bird that told me that you were back in lisboa. at first i was confused, happy, nervous, unsure, and something was growing inside, and i was… i was… oh gosh, last time i had seen extreme live was back in 94, nuno back in 98, that makes 10 years… oh gosh, lets buy tickets then, arrange babysitter, err - do the stuff! do i remember how? ok, backstage pass, i will need one of those, of course, but, how why when, uh!!! ok, so then the hard rock cafe meet and greet, oh god oh god, this is really happening… here i go, 10 years later, alone and shaking, had a beer - there goes kevin?? no, someone alike, for sure. is that nuno? oh yes, that’s him, i look from afar. when the guys walk onstage, i’m not watching tv anymore, ok, lets dance to the funk. my reactions are fast, but tragic comic style. we’re all nervous here, lets meet after. oh boy. i try to talk, damn, ask for autographs and all that, and, no, no, that’s not it, i need to tell, say something… but all that comes out is truly weird, so i decide to contemplate and photograph, that’s what i do best. i leave with plenty of hugs and kisses and a desire to follow the party. next day, new fans, new friends, the atmosphere is really awesome, we’re in this together, this band has united us for the love of music, and love is what we all feel before, during and after the show. love love love. plenty of eye contact, wow gary grabs my hand with such energy and i send it back to him without words: you are the best, this tour is going to be amazing! the funk is on and i think: this is it! this is what i was looking for! so much love beyond words! and pat comes over and smiles and nuno plays for me, eyes on eyes, and i almost collapse, because i can’t believe i’m here, watching live “am i ever gonna change”. i dance, i stop dancing, i dance furiously again. backstage bracelet on my hand and i find myself screaming out loud my love for this music, my love for this band, a big part of my life right here, with me, and i somehow don’t find that weird to verbalize anymore: i am part of extreme too. meeting after was calm, cool, and, once more with lots of love all over. again, my words didn’t came out very well, but yeah, i felt wonderful emotions, the strongest connection, and that’s what’s remarkable about this band. you colored most of my days, gave the text to most of my stories, you are fantastic. at the end of the story, after another beer, i decided to say goodbye to each of you, and, like old time friends that we definitely are, love was shared between us, and that is something beautiful that i have the honor to be living. i love you forever. be back soon. i’ll bring red organic wine next time! e quero mais abraços!

Hi,guys!
It was really great show last night at Tokyo.
And,I drew your pictures in commemoration.
It put on my blog and see, please!!

Gary Hedges

Hello from BILBAO, Spain. Was AMAZING!!!, We will wait patiently for the next show. But, please, this time we can not wait almost 13 years!!!!
We really love you, EXTREME!

Extreme, please come to Brazil!
We love you!

Hey guys!! I am just an old hardcore fan from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta and to hear you’ve reunited was awesome. I can say for everyone from the area, we would love to see you up here in Alberta. We haven’t forgotten you. Peace man. Trev.

III Sides is the most underrated album of the 90s, if not all time. How that didn’t sell 100 gazillion copies is beyond me. I saw Extreme open for Diamond Dave many moons ago and think it was one of the best sounding concerts that I’ve ever been too. I hope to catch the band live again soon.

Missed you guys the first time round. So glad you came back.
I’ve seen some great bands over the last few years but you guys are just way better. I now know what Brian May meant at Freddie’s tribute when he said Extreme really get’s it.
Thank You!
Looking forward to next year!

Hey guys, the last time I saw you was back in good old London town. I never thought you’d be back. My brother called me in the middle of your last gig to prove you were - and it was just a magic phone call! I cannot say how DAMN glad I am to hear you guys rock the planet again. Problem is I’m now in New Zealand - so how about you come and rock the emerald island PLEEEEEEAAASE, we wont disappoint you! (And you’ll get to see New Zealand, jump off bridges and generally do crazy sh!t in your free time!
How can you say no!

Hope to see you soon in India !
Please do come…waited a loooooong time :p

Olá.
Adorei o vosso concerto aqui em Lisboa. Simplesmente fantástico!

What a great night you gave us in Southampton on 21st November! It was unbelievable seeing you in the flesh and hearing you live!!! You’re so talented and inspiring - not only the best musicians in the world, but amazing, funny and lovely guys. I was mesmerised. Please come back soon x

Extreme….Jakarta waiting for ur concert….cant wait..!!!!. Please take time to have meet and greet with Extreme fan in Hard Rock Cafe Jakarta. Im waiting for u there too.

FROM SURABAYA TO JAKARTA -I’ve been waitin’ for u for a long time since I listened “SONG FOR LOVE&CUPID DEAD” etc, what a magnificent solo&arrangement!!!!

Emi, read your comment make me imagine the concert.Iwant
to correspond with you, may I ? extreme will show in Indonesia at 15 Dec. NUNO gave me influence of my guitar playing. tks

Great to hear that there is future plans still remaining. We (me & five friends) up here in Finland were really putting our dimes together to find out if visit to Germany would have been possible but we could not make it due to many reasons.

I’ve seen you in 1992 in Ruisrock Finland and on III Sides tour in Helsinki icehall (+ Gary in 1998 in Helsinki with VH) and I will never ever forget those shows including the VH show.

I am SURE there will be sufficient fan base in this country to support your visit so please don’t forget us up here in North.

Br, Mikko

Hello Nuno,

you’re damn right with every word you wrote. It was a night for a lifetime in Cologne. I was there together with my three closest buddies (like you four guys are, one of them named your new song “Hell yeah”:-))), and we waited like all the other people so long to see you again on stage.. and it was worth every kilometre to get there form Munich (where I saw you the first time in 1995) and I will do the double number of kilometres if it’s necessary the next time. Please keep on with that stuff, I mean there a not so many left like you.. just make your thing without those chartbreaking rock bullshit in mind.. you are the spearhead of rock for me since I seriously listen to music. Extreme kicks ass!

Felt like we were listening to you again for the first time - sound was amazing. We saw you in Dublin, and what a great venue for a gig - you need to come back! Please!!! Our friends in Cyprus were gutted they could only hear you over the phone - they want you over there too :)

Hi guys!
It was the best show ever!!
First I only had a ticket for the first night but it was super fantastic, so I tried to manage to go 3 shows in Tokyo!!
You are our STARS!!!!
Thank you so much for coming back to Japan, your music, your kindness to fans and everything!!
Hope to have you back in Tokyo real soon…enjoy the rest of the Japan tour!!

Much love,
Tomomi

Next Saturday you will be in here. I’ll go to see you and enjoy with you nuno gary pat kevin~~~ see you next weekend in South KOREA~hahaha

Gentleman. I have been to see many rock bands in my time. But you guys well you made rock seem real, you gave passion intensity and love to your sound. I will admit I was kind of to young to appreciate you first time round, it was only when I watched the Freddie Mercury tributed did I get that feeling of power which you gave me at the Newport show. I was introduced to your music a few years later by a great mate who I lost some years back and if he had never let me here He Man Woman Hater I would still of had no idea of you abilities. So I want to say a big thank you to him in heaven and to you gentleman who are Extreme, thanks for the opportunity to experience what will always be one of the most amazing sounds live. Nuno, Pat, Kevin and Gary never believe you have not achieved because a whole world of rock exists because of you gentleman, so a big thank you hope you tour very soon!

Don´t forget Sweden/Finland/Norway! =)

I first saw you in Manchester (UK) back in December 1992 when I was only 13…you guys and your music was my life! Last month I was lucky enough to be at your AMAZING gig in Manchester on November 18th. YOU GUYS ROCKED!!! It has to be THE best concert I have ever been to and it was worth every second of the 16 year wait to see you again. I am so glad you played ‘Am I ever gonna change’….when it comes to being a fan of Extreme…I’ll always stay the same.

Thanks for your music and for coming back on tour to see us all! COME BACK SOON! We’re watchng, waiting….

Nuno, it was pretty obvious from all your expressions how blown away you were with the crowd’s reaction! I was one of the lucky ones in Glasgow, who actually did manage to connect with you personally as you came down to the front of the stage at the end! Nice pecs, BTW!!!

Caught your pick after the Midnight Express solo…you must have played a mean guitar…it’s full of nicks round the edge!!!
Come back again to Glasgow soon…I guarantee the same reception!!!

Linda xx

No, Nuno, thanks to u. thanks for back with these new fucking songs and rock us like u do. here, in madrid, where i live, u gave us the best show of the year(all the people is agree here). keep on doing your best work, like now. be sure, we all will be here waiting for u guys. GOD SAVE EXTREME!!!!

WOW!! Thank you guys, I saw you at Birmingham and you completely blew me away! I have always been in love with your music and seeing you in 1992 was my first ever gig. Nuno, I took loads of photos of you but not many came out as I was shaking so much. Gutted I didn’t get to shake your hand at the end, please can I come and meet you next time?! You have put the smile back on my face.

Loving the new tracks, you are amazing!! Can’t wait to see you again.

Love always

Amanda

I knew EXTREME would come back! I miss you SO much !!That’s so great to hear you again. I’ve been your fan since I am 20, and I am 36 yrs old now \ (^_^) /. I will always be your fan. Love you guys, take good care of yourselves.

Please come to São Paulo - Brazil!!

Asia is waiting Nuno!!
I’m from Singapore - this little country south of Malaysia, and WE ARE WAITING!!!

Aaaaah noooo, I missed you guys in the Netherlands, I only found out now. too too too bad. Hope you come to play in Belgium next time you hit West-Europe. So cool you are reunited. Your LP’s are amongst to few ones I still keep listening to from start to end. And I’m just about to buy a Washburn Nuno, so keep you marker ready to sign it :P ;)

Hi Nuno, your show in Paris was incredible, you, the sound, the audience, the songs (your new album is the best of the year with the B52’s Funplex)…I saw Extreme opening for Aerosmith in 94(?). I liked it, though the sound was shitty in a huge place. I’ve never had these pure rock’n'roll feelings since Queen in the early eighties (I was too young in the seventies). Thank you and be back soon (in 12 years ?)

Hi guys,

I saw you at Newport with my other half and was lucky enough to meet you afterwards. You completely blew our minds, my other half was blown away to meet you Nuno as you’re one of his idols. Personally speaking, it was my first Extreme show (a very new 24 year old fan) but I can promise you it won’t be my last. THANK YOU for coming to Wales, and please don’t forget us next time…we will definitely leave the light on for you. Thank you from both of us for the most amazing night of our lives.

Ah! If it wasn’t hard enough for me not to see you and Extreme before, it’s so much harder now! If only you charming young gents came to Ontario, Canada….Toronto area mainly….then maaaaybe, just MAYBE my heart wouldn’t be so broken. …Hahaha! I aboslutely love you guys, it would be a thrill to meet such a talented group. :)

Glad you enjoyed yourselves!
Peace. :)

-Jenn

The night I waited for a long time…

I could write a million words and not saying all the feelings I proved that night in Madrid. I threw up my cowboy hat and then you took it and joked with it…I really felt some kind of friendship with the guy I´ve been following since I was a kid, learned to play and sing and become the music man who I am today.
Thank you very much nuno for all the passion you put on the things you do, you make us be better people!
I hope to see you soon again, have fun!!

Guys!
I’ve been Extreme’s fan since i was in senior high, waiting for 17 years to see you all live on stage… especially Nuno!

See you in Jakarta soon!

Hey, Nuno, Gary, Pat & Kev I was lucky enough to see you at Norwich UEA. I would have to say it was one off the best live shows I have seen in a long time And trust me I have seen loads! The energy and music was spellbinding. It reminded me of why I became a fan all those years ago. What a fantastic trip down memory lane. Come back to the UK soon.

P.S It was so refreshing to see a band who has had the success it has, to be so humble as to thank and greet so many fans after the show ended. Thank You !!!!!

P.P.S When’s the new album out??????

Nuno, por favor, voltem a Portugal ou a França, porque nao nos foi possivel ir aos concertos e temos saudades imensas de vocês!!

I’m still reliving your fab gig. Was very deaf for about a week mind. Please come back very soon, missed you so much. Love you all..xxx

Thank you Extreme for playing a sizzling, knock-out show this past August at HOB Los Angeles. You guys absolutely kicked butt and many of us lost our voices cheering so loudly and singing along to ever song! Undeniably, you guys are AT THE TOP OF YOUR GAME now. I thought the 3 Sides tour could never be topped but you guys hit another home run! Suadades is the most enjoyable album of ‘08 and I hope to hear more on the next round such as Flower Man and Interface on stage one day. Congrats on the’Queen Medley’, I’m sure Mr Mercury is smiling from the heavens above! We look forward to seeing you again in ‘09. You have our support, best wishes, and solidarity.

I LOVE EXTREME. ALL THE BEST WISHES FOR THE REST OF TOUR,AND HAVE A BEAUTIFUL VACATION. PLEASE COME BACK TO OSAKA SOON.MINASANN ARIGATOU…YUKI

welcome back n let’s get rock on jakarta..
Im waiting for you up there.
Can’t wait to see you

Saw you in Tilburg, I have been a fan from day one but this was the first time I saw you guys live. It was better than I could possibly have hoped for. Please come back very soon. In the meantime, please release a live DVD because I’ve been aching for it for years. Hope to see you back soon!

Extreme is my passion! We’re waiting here in Brazil :-)

I saw Extreme 3/22/95 in Baltimore. It was nothing less than Awesome!! I’m Eager to see you guys again somewhere within the Chicago-Cincinnati-St. Louis triangle this time.

Guys please, please come to Australia….. SOON!!!

I have been a huge fan of Extreme and Nuno’s various bands since Pornograffiti came out, but due to living on the West Coast and being in the wrong place at the right time, I never got to see any of it live until this tour.

All I can say is, it was worth the 18-year wait!

Yes indeed, I was hungry, starving in fact, for some solid rock and roll as only Extreme does it. And I left the show with a full belly. All I wanted to do the next morning was chase down the tour bus and get in line for another meal.

I am so grateful for all the inspiration and insight I have gleaned from your work. You have filled my heart and soothed my soul countless times over the years, like a guiding light in an ever-confusing world. You have helped to keep me sane.

Dudes, I could go on and on but let me just leave it at this: don’t leave me so hungry for so long again! Come back to SF as soon as you can!

With love and heartfelt appreciation!

I’ve been lucky enough to see some amazing gigs this year, Journey, Satriani, Paul Gilbert, Joe Bonamassa, Alter Bridge and a few others but the Extreme gig was like arriving at the summit. I was at the gig in Birmingham (Carling Acadamy). I’m not just saying this but I have never experienced an atmosphere like that at a gig before. The respect and love we all felt for you guys was real - we could all tell that you were genuinely moved by it. These are troubled times but you brought something back that sometimes is missing - fun! Like other people have said I spent the whole night smiling. The boys in the band were kick ass - awesome. Nuno, I have seen some guitarists, this year alone, from Neal Schon, Joe Bonamassa thru to Marc Tremonti but you are the man! I now know why I tried to play all those Pornograffiti riffs on my acoustic! To the guys in Extreme and to everyone who helped to bring the tour to Europe - many thanks for giving us such a joyous occasion. You guys are back and better than ever. God bless ya.

Oh my God!!! Your show in Madrid was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Thank U for that great sensation…. See U…Hear U… How can you play on that way?? It was amazing!!! We are waiting for you anxiously….!!!
GOD SAVE EXTREME!!!!!

And Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New EXTREME Year!!!

AAAAAAAAAAAH!!

Thank´s for the awesome gigs.

Brazil and Rio de Janeiro are waiting for you guys! 17 years after that 1992 show!

First of all thank you so much for coming to Hiroshima, my home! I really love Saudades de Rock and I wanted to hear more from it. Esp. I love Flower Man and King of the Ladies, and Take Us Alive too. Cos I am a new fan, I listened to your latest album first, then early stuff. I believe every song is amazimgly one and only extrematic! I was among the lucky ones to meet you all backstage and I was so overjoyed I felt my brains melt away. I want to keep my state of mind and talk about in-depth matters next time I see you. Once again I thank you so much for doing such a fantastic show in Hiroshima. I really enjoyed singing with you! Dec. 10 2008 became the most memorable day of my life so far. Love Yoshiko

Hey Guys,
After waiting for…….well too long. I finally got to see you play in Birmingham. You were awesome and much more, I even got to shake hands with you all which made the night even more perfect. The only trouble is that my 11 year old daughter, Casey, who is a massive fan of yours really wanted to see you but I didn’t let her go because I wasn’t sure whether she was too young, she is devastated and will hold this against me forever :( If you can think of ANY way to make things right I will be eternally grateful:)

Thanks for an amazing gig.

Loadsa Love, Sarah XXX

Hey guys!

Hello Extreme.

I was at the Glasgow, UK gig and it was a very special show. An amazing performance though I do wish you had played more of the NEW songs. I haven’t stopped listening to the new album since I bought it. I also saw you guys in Glasgow on the III Sides Tour which was also fantastic.

One important request: Can you please record and release a live show on DVD?

I look forward to your return to Scotland. I will be there!

All The Best,

Richard (Dundee, Scotland).

I have just seen you guys in Seoul - BRILLIANT!! It was definitely worth the wait!

As the only westerner in the crowd, I wondered if I would be the only one who knew all the lyrics - BOY was I wrong!!! Nuno - your face when the whole crowd sang ‘Mutha’ was a picture!

You played with obvious passion and for everyone in the building…it was truly special.

Please come back to Korea soon (and maybe with a quick stop over in Hong Kong too which is where I came from to see you! hehe)

Lots of love xxx

Hopefully you’ll swing through St Louis next time around.

I would love to see ya again!!

You always put on a great show.

I saw you guys in Birmingham. What a gig. Pure theatre. It was everything a gig should be and truly humanized your music. Most of the bands touring at the moment should go and see you, they could learn a lot.
At one point you singled out a “young punk” on his dads shoulders. His reaction was priceless. The kids gonna take that with him to his grave.
Thanks for the new album and I look forward to seeing you on the next tour.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the brilliant show in Dublin, Ireland. Please please come back soon! Believe it or not - back then I didn’t like rock music till I listen to ‘Extreme’. You rock!

Nuno-I don’t know why, who, what, when or where but I don’t care-now that you’ve pulled your cranium from that dark area the light from the third side(truth)must be blinding! The number of us out here is staggering-welcome back and let your past guide your now,forever-We love you-Brian

Exteme, please come to Spokane, Washington. The new record is amazing. I would love to hear it live. I saw you at the Hammersmith Oden in the Uk in the early 90’s while I was stationed in the military there. You are a great band, and would surely appreciate it.

Keep rocking, DC

WOW! FANTASTIC! AMAZING!

Maybe a little late…. but now I’m alone at home, “Saudades..” is playing, brings back memories of your Tilburg gig 11.03. My grandmother passed away the day before, aged 95. She’s been my guidelight, my shoulder, my conscience, my heroin. I so much wanted to ask you to dedicate a song to her, but in the end I didn’t dare. Anyway…. you blew us away!!!! You guys were so energetic and all sounded and looked so good!! I’m sure my grandma was lookin’ down on me smiling, when she saw me rocking.”Saudades” allready to me is a classic album! So Extreme!! Hope to rock with you again some time. Love,
Cindy

Hi Nuno & the Boys. Your new album absolutely ROCKS!! Best release from any band in quite some time.

We are waiting with high anticipation for you to come back to Sydney Australia, saw you at the State Theatre, Sydney 1993.

Fingers crossed you tour Down Under in the near future.

All the Best.

Too many messages to read, I only read those about where I was november 4th : Paris (France)
This was a great concert, and a dream come true since I was excpecting this moment for about 15 years… I was too young by the time to get myslef in a rock concert with tons of long-hair guys :-D .
You all, especially Gary, seemed very moved by the “love” and energy the audience gave you that day (maybe it was the same emotion everywhere ?!).

Wish you all a Merry Christmas and hope you’ll be back soon.

I was just watching an Extreme DVD and thought I’d get online to see what’s new with the guys. Nuno’s post and all these comments are making me so disappointed I missed out on this tour! Guys, PLEASE come to Columbus, Ohio!!! I am so glad to hear you’re making music together and touring again.

you guys have gotta come to the philippines! we really have to see you in real life!

Guys - saw you in Leeds @ the Academy - absolutely amazing. I thought the Chilis were a tight band live, but your musicianship was on another level - just effortless.

Hope you can get another show on the road next year, and if so please head back to the UK.

Best wishes
Griff

Guys,
Come to Poland. We R waiting for U. My band can play as a support. :-) http://www.gandahar.pl

It was great time to see you at Tokyo. I’ve been a big fan of you for 20years.
Now, my 4-year-old daughter is also your fan! especially Nuno.Every day she’s watching
PV or CD of ” rest in peace”.
So, I will take her to your live next time!
Merry X’mas and Happy Holiday!

I can hardly wait to see you here in Brazil. Ok, I’ve waited 17 years, guess I can take it a little more… Please, come!!!!!

Love you all!

It’s great to see such a great band playing again, unfortunately I never got the chance to be in an Extreme concert. I hope you guys come to Brazil someday. I’d love to be there rocking with you guys.

Thanks for taking the time to say your bit Nuno, as fans we cannot say how much it means to us to know how much you all enjoyed the tour (and it showed). You are the most awesome guitarist I have ever seen (and I’ve seen a few), Can’t wait to see you all again. Have a great Christmas and come back to us real soon

Hey Guys,
You’ve made so many people happy with “Take Us Alive” tour. Please, come back to Europe as soon as possible. Don’t forget to visit Malta.

Gary, Nuno, Pat, Kevin, we love You.

It was a long exhausting almost hopeless 18 years of waiting. When i found out the band had been no more I was HOLEHEARTED…there was a huge Hole in My Heart That Can Only Be Filled By You…and by the time I saw the flyer of your concert and found out that you guys got back together again my heart was pumping real hard..but that wasnt all..an undescribable feeling like a butterfly in your stomache suddenly came hammering my body when i read you guys were coming to Jakarta, my hometown!!

Thank God for real people!! (who just happen to be Rock Stars!) Keeping the light on for ya in Tennessee and/or Mississippi!!! Love you guys! Believe it or not, I still have my little Extreme Fan Club (ca. 1992) folder with the picks from Nuno and Pat!!

I saw you in Southampton on 21st November. It was the most awesome gig I’ve ever been to!! I’ve been a huge fan since I was 9 years old (my 7 year old child now sings along to your CDs too!!) and to see you guys live was incredible! I love the new album and can’t wait for you to come back soon (I hope). Health and happiness for 2009!

You have the sweetest way of writing, I feel so touched by your words! It was great to be at your show, the energy you guys spread all over the place… I still get happy when I think of it… You guys are the best and I can’t wait for you to return and play again. You’re always welcome for another sleepover, the beds will be warm and the beers cold… Love you guys, keep up the good work and hopefully see you soon.

i just wanna say thanks to you all for totaly performance when you play in senayan, jakarta, keep on rockin nuno….

Nuno, Saw you at the Astoria, amazing, it’s what being in a Band and what following a Band is really all about. It was fantastic to spend an evening with you all again. Precious days, keep rocking and come back soon.

extreme, Nuno, Gary here in Italy there are too many people waiting for you sice so long! please schedule a concert ASAP!!!

I just wanted to say that I was TOTALLY SHAFTED by Ticketmaster thinking I was buying tickets to see Extreme. I thought I was going to see Extreme at Nokia Live here in Los Angeles. The tickets went on sale with no band photo….therefore I had no idea that “Xtreme” was actually a hip-hop act. I shelled out nearly $400 that for 4 tix and VIP passes, which I thought was going to put me right in front of my musical heroes. Alas, I found out the day of the show that it was a different act entirely :( I argued the charge with American Express, but was forced to pay anyway by Ticketmaster. Snap!

Anyway, you guys were unbelievable at the House of Blues. My buddies that I dragged to the show thought we were going to see a nostalgia act and were absolutely blown away. My friend Adam, who wasn’t a fan even back in the day, exclaimed that it was one of the best rock shows he’s ever seen.

Thanks Extreme!
F-U Ticketmaster!

Nuno, thanks for your message of appreciation. I’m in Australia and am hoping you will come back here to tour. It’s so exciting that Extreme have reformed. My first concert was when I saw you guys play in Melbourne 1993. I was 16. I’ve been listening to Saudades De Rock a lot. It is great. Extreme have still got IT!

Thanks for sooo many years of amazing music.
We´ll be waiting here in Lima, Peru! Don´t forget us!

Hey beautiful Nuno! Remember me the Italian stallion? It was a dream come true meeting you, thank you for being so kind and patient! I absolutely loved the show in Southampton (England) you guys really blew me away - love the new album can’t stop listening to Ghost & King of the ladies - it’s so sexy! Please come to Swindon my home town and pop in for some pasta - love you guys so much you deserve all the success life throws at you all 4 of you were so sweet - the best birthday present in my life was seeing you and meeting you all x x tanti baci e affetto Luisa x x

To finally see you guys play live, 013 Tilburg in the Netherlands, was really one of the best things ever!!! And to top it all off, to actually shake Nuno’s hand at the end of the gig was amazing!! A 32 year old guy, but shaking like a leaf afterwards. Thanks for all your music and a great, great concert!

hey, you guys…
waaah, I missed the germany show, (…coz my first son was born just 3 weeks earlier and I couldnt get out of work and would have been a seven our drive and I just found out too late) so please please please come to germany again. munich if anyhow possible and I`ll drag 20 people with me. I started listening to your music when my dad bought pornograffiti when it came out. he bought it because of “more than words” (hes an acoustic ballad kind of guy), but I was the one listening to the rest of it. you were the very first band I ever was a fan of. you were the guys who got me into rock. Man, I was just 11 years old back then. to me extreme came first, led zeppelin came later… :D. I remember me jumping and screaming my lungs out down in our basement, lights turned down and EXTREME turned up to the very peak. and it never stopped. every year, I have had an extreme time, when your albums were rollin up and down in my stereo. I know you are one of the main reasons I learned to sing, play guitar and drums. And Im not even a metal fan. Just an extreme fan. theres something in your music that touched my little soul back then and its still there. thank you for that. thank you so much.

I have to see you live, so please come somewhere close to bavaria, germany. or just come by for a little jam on our rehearsal room or something. :D…

ok, I guess that just had to get out-

Luv you guys.
danny.

P.S.: Nuno, your solo from “Song for Love” - to me is still the most beautiful rock solo ever.

…………..
Beautiful words!
I saw you guys in Holland last november and it really rocked! It was better than ever; small place, interaction, great new songs and you guys better than ever!
Please don’t let us wait another 13 years to see you in Holland!!!!

Guys, please…South America - CHILE…come to Chile please!!! here waiting so long…you’ll be surpise!!!

Saudades de Extreme in Brazil!

See Extreme on a stage is my greatest dream ! You’re the best ROCK band I ever heard. Hope to see (if not in Poland) in Germany or in Czech Republic or something like that. Best wishes for you ! Keep on rockin’ !

YOUR BACK TOGETHER??????????????
How on earth did i miss that????

Anyway, that´s the best news of my 21. Century so far ;o)

And I´m really looking forward to the hugging and kissing on your next tour and I WILL BE THERE ;o)

And the best, I did not grow out of your music taste, which is good, I mean, I could have disliked it by now, getting older…no, I REALLY like your new album ;o)

see you sooooooooon ;o)

I saw you at Glasgow and it was my first ever gig (im only 15). I had the national basketball trials the next day but i screwed up because i was so tiered. That doesn’t bother me because it was totally worth every second.

I had amazing seats to see you at the House of Blues in Dallas, but… I missed you. I was called out of town last minute for work and was so bummed. Here’s the happy ending though, I called a friend who had no idea who you were and offered him my seats (for free). He ended up coming to see you and was BLOWN AWAY! I’ve been a fan since the beginning, but now you have a brand new one too. Please come back to Dallas soon!

extreme, it’s hard to put in to words about how i feel about the band. i really wonder if you guys realize just how talented you are. i sure hope you guys never retier. God bless.dont stop rockin’ thanx vinny

I’ll never forget the first time we saw you guys at Painter’s Mill Music Fair - a tiny hole in the wall place that doesn’t even exist anymore. You opened up for Danger Danger, and 3/4 of the crowd left after you guys got off stage. I think Gary sweated on me the venue was so small. Good times, glad to see you’re feeling now like you made us feel back then!

Hi Sue Here,
I saw you guys 21st Nov 08 in Southampton. I sang my heart out and then you shook our hands at the end. It was the best concert I’d been to since the 90’s when you came to play in Bournemouth. I meet you all backstage then. The gig in southampton just took me back and reminded me how great you are live, not just as musicians on stage but to your fans. You guys are great!!! Keep Rockin!
